So I just finished this book called “The Five Love Languages”… and it’s so insightful. I realized where a lot of the problems between me and my boyfriend were coming from. Basically the book talks about how there are five basic languages of love and each person has a primary language. So the five languages are:
1. Words of Affirmation2. Quality Time3. Receiving Gifts4. Acts of Service5. Physical Touch
Most often, couples do not speak the same primary love language. That’s why when one person shows love through quality time but not words of affirmation and the other person shows love through words of affirmation but not quality time, both people may not feel as loved because they’re speaking different love languages. If you’re interested in reading it, I know Amazon Prime will let you borrow the book for free on a Kindle!
Also if you’re interested, here’s a link to find out what your primary love language is: http://www.5lovelanguages.com/assessments/love/
For girls and boys in relationships, just take the one for wives and husbands but substitute wife for girlfriend and husband for boyfriend. I just made James answer a bunch of theses questions and wow. We are complete opposites. But at least now we know! So check it out and let me know if you like it too! :D
